How does your duct cleaning pricing work?

We are committed to making sure that you understand and are comfortable with the price of your service BEFORE we get started. Some things are unclear until we get into your space, see your furnace, and inspect your duct work; however, here is a general breakdown of how we calculate your estimate. All duct cleanings start at $499 for up to 10 vents (return and supply), each additional vent adds $15/vent. If you have more than one furnace, an additional fee of $150/furnace will be charged. Lastly, we charge a travel fee of $100/hour for homes that are more than 30 minutes from our business (located on the far east side of Rockford, Illinois). Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my duct cleaning?

Sometimes we’ll need to move furniture and other items in order to access your vents. We are happy to do this for you, however, you may want to move any items that are particularly delicate or fragile.

Do I need to be home for the duration of the service?

It’s completely up to you! We will need to turn the furnace off for the duration of the cleaning so depending on the weather you may want to be somewhere warmer/cooler. The duct cleaning equipment can be loud, so if you are uncomfortable with noise you may want to be out of the house during the service.

How long will the cleaning take?

This depends on the complexity of your duct work; however, most cleanings take between 2 and 5 hours.

Do I need to do anything with my pets?

We are comfortable with your pets (and they are generally comfortable with us); however, the cleaning is rather loud so depending on their comfort level you may want to find an alternative spot for them.

Do you offer any discounts?

We are happy to offer 10% discounts to active or retired military or teachers and offer 50% discounts on dryer vent cleanings when paired with a duct cleaning.
